Human Rights Education Intern

Kelly was drawn to Resolve because of its commitment to creating inclusive social change that enables marginalized communities to share their stories and to be heard. As the Human Rights Education intern, she assists in coordinating activities related to the social justice fellowship program, which she believes will allow her to gain exposure to different approaches for empowering disadvantaged communities. Previously, Kelly interned in the New York- based NGO, Adhikaar, an organization that works with the Nepali community to promote human rights and social justice. She assisted in coordinating outreach programs and workforce development training including CPR, Nanny Training, and Computer Class. Additionally, she co-facilitated the adult English for Empowerment program to help Nepali immigrants build agency through professional skill development. She is currently an undergraduate student at Hampshire College, Massachusetts studying International Development and Business Management and has completed an exchange program at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Kelly enjoys spending time at the beach, backpacking and creating travel videos.
